Arden Cross responds to the governments levelling up agenda, the development will create the jobs, skills, connectivity, opportunities and wealth needed across the UK.

Arden Cross is a world leading economic hub for the Midlands, co-locating employment, learning, living and transportation in one place.

It will support up to 27,000 new jobs, 6 million sq ft of employment space, 3,000 new homes and brand new infrastructure to ensure its benefits spread far and wide.

It will create a new place for work, home and leisure, all wrapped around the new HS2 Interchange station and connecting to central London in just 38 minutes and to every major English regional city in less than an hour.

An integral part of the UK Central Hub, Arden Cross will be at the heart of a new economic zone.

The development will be delivered by Arden Cross Ltd (ACL), a special purpose delivery vehicle created by landowners Birmingham City Council, Coleshill Estate and the Packington Estate working with national developer Muse.

All of the partners are committed to a shared vision of building a world class, smart and connected destination at the heart of the Midlands.

It will unite research and residential land uses with commercial and connectivity ones, while creating something entirely new in the process.

The UK Central Hub

Arden Cross is an integral part of Solihull Council’s and the Urban Growth Company’s wider plans for the UK Central Hub. The plans include the NEC, Birmingham Airport, Jaguar Land Rover, Resorts World and Birmingham Business Park.

The wider opportunities across the UK Central Hub creates a unique economic area of international importance capable of driving growth across the region.

HS2 Limited

HS2 will connect Arden Cross to central London in just 38 minutes and to every major English regional city in less than an hour.

With 30 million people – half of the entire UK population – served by new HS2 services from Arden Cross, it will be the destination at the very centre of this world-class, low-carbon transport network.

Transforming passenger journeys is only part of HS2, with its ability to remove freight from roads, maximise the use of the existing West Coast and East Coast main lines, and creating more capacity across the entire rail network – this is a once in a generation investment.
